Meeting Minutes and Recap - 1-23-18

Hello Horticulture Peeps! We are back with updates and minutes in case you missed any prior meetings.
Anyways, the meetings held on January 23, 2018 was a formal meeting where several topics and points were discussed, including an awesome collaboration with SJDC's Art Club!

[Meeting adjourned at 2:31] (All meetings are now starting at 2:45 pm and formal meetings will have limited time intervals per topic, 1 hour and 30 minutes for business)

Collaboration with Art Club

The collaboration with Art Club is based off Horticulture Plant Sales, where we will not only sell plants for the Horticulture Department, but the SJDC Horticulture Club and Art Club as well.
Money will be tracked on a paper for marking every pot sold for Art Club's behalf.
-The pots will be made with clay through a hand made process and will be 6" as it seems to be the most value friendly. Other products may include Plant Markers and Ornaments!

Plant Sales are to be held in March, featuring herb starts and herb markers;the same time when Mark dates for pots are set. [The last day for clay products from the art club is April 19] One batch will be made and split upon two sale dates.
[Custom Orders are pit on hold, until we see how the first plant sale goes]
--To produce plants for the upco, ing plant sales, work days during club meets will primarily focus on producing and starting seeds, utilizing the greenhouse.--
The primary objective for plant varieties include a smaller quantity in variety but a high amount in quality.
