Meeting Minutes and Recap - 1-23-18

Hello Horticulture Peeps! We are back with updates and minutes in case you missed any prior meetings. Anyways, the meetings held on January 23, 2018 was a formal meeting where several topics and points were discussed, including an awesome collaboration with SJDC's Art Club! [Meeting adjourned at 2:31] (All meetings are now starting at 2:45 pm and formal meetings will have limited time intervals per topic, 1 hour and 30 minutes for business) Collaboration with Art Club The collaboration with Art Club is based off Horticulture Plant Sales, where we will not only sell plants for the Horticulture Department, but the SJDC Horticulture Club and Art Club as well.  Money will be tracked on a paper for marking every pot sold for Art Club's behalf. -The pots will be made with clay through a hand made process and will be 6" as it seems to be the most value friendly. Other products may include Plant Markers and Ornaments! Plant Sales are to be held in March, feat

If you didn't attend the work meetings for November 21 and November 28, both of which started at 2:30 and ended at 5:00; we worked on prepping and creating cool crafts, like wreathes and posters for the plant sale that took place on December 1. Thanks to the hard work from Horticulture Club members and students of Greenhouse/ Production; we were able to sell a ton of wreathes and made a good fundraiser! Following Pictures were Taken from November 28😄
